Scholarship amounts (mainly location based)

Has anyone figured out which world is the best and worst to live in to get that scholarship? All I have seen so far is that the amount says it is different depending on which world you live in. I have found amounts for all the other scholarships listed I just can't seem to nail this one town. It would be interesting to see which worlds are better or worse to live in for storytelling purposes or just to know.
  • @Mariefoxprice83 here's the list if all scholarships: https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/expansionpacks/discoveruniversity/degrees.php
Not every skill has related one.

That's usually where I get most of my information is Carl's guides even for The Sims 3. He just didn't have amounts yet for the location-based one.
  • It doesn't matter where you sim lives, but the number of skills they have will determine the scholarships given and amount. Also if you are playing a teen, their grades will also play a part. I do know that if your sim lives in Britechester there is a scholarship for living in that town, but so far none of my sims who have lived there have always been turned down with this one, not sure why.
  • Does anyone know the rules for skill-based scholarships? How many points do you need to get one? The option came up when I was playing with my supernatural sims who I had been playing with aging off for a while to bump up their skills, and they were all offered the chance to apply for at least one skill-based scholarship. I gave up on them for various reasons but when I started again with a new sim I played as a teen then sent to university, the only skill-based scholarship she was offered was the one for the sports team, even though she had good writing skills, good painting skills and later on good charisma and research skills.
  • I’m always turned down for the location-based scholarships. Most of my Sims are slumming it in Sulani.

Thanks, guys. This is helpful. I'm still not sure why some sims get them and others don't but I think time will tell!
