The eating of spoiled food has been going on since the Island Living patch. It's disappointing that it hasn't been fixed yet. Luckily LittleMsSam has a fix for it in her bug fixes. The napping instead of sleeping has always been a thing but has become much worse since the last big patch that arrived just before discover university. My sims are choosing to nap even when their energy is really low and it's late at night. I can understand napping during the day but not at night time.
