The Sims 4 focused aim & execution on inclusivity /representation - helpful or harmful?

I feel like there is a lot of emphasis on sexual orientation diversity (which is great) BUT there is a lot of room to expand racial/religious/cultural inclusion. I would love an Africa-inspired pack to bring all the richness of that continent into the game - from pyramids to safaris, plains, jungles and beaches, braais and tagines... and the clothes and patterns. I really enjoy the Jungle Adventure world and I loved World Adventures in TS3, but only including additional cultures as holiday destinations seems a bit hollow.
