- If it is indeed a design choice...it's pretty dumb. That goes against "play your way" if completionists can't complete one of the culinary aspirations.
I hope it does get seriously looked at and fixed. "candace92;12843208" wrote:

I'm not sure how you figure "play it your way" = "do everything in game on one sim" Thats sort of like complaining that in sims 3 you only got one lifetime wish to me.- I thought there was an achievement for completing everything with one sim?? I only looked once though, because I'm not too interested in the achievements.

Not a bug, Sims 4 is designed NOT to solo.
If you want to solo, install Sims 3 (although some puzzles in world adventures need two sims).
I don't understand, and I'm being sincere about this. I'm currently playing a single Sim and my goal is to complete all aspirations with her. Are you saying that EA purposely designed Sims 4 so this cannot be done? If so, that's a little... weird. Why would EA design the game so that a single Sim can't complete all aspirations? To force us to play more than one character? I just don't see how that adds to the game, and it is frustrating to those of us who are playing as "completionists."- A single sim can complete all aspirations, just not any sim. Master mixologist sim can. Chef sim, can't.
Maxis designed the game your one sim can go all careers but only one branch in each (unless you export/import sim in a new game).
And I'm playing as completionist and I didn't find it frustrating, sorry. :)
Instead of one "supersim" you'll now have two. "candace92;12843208" wrote:

Not really.
Your sim wants to be a master mixologist.
Makes sense to have the right career.- Thanks for the clarification, @JoxerTM22. I wish that they did allow a single Sim to complete all possible career branches, and I'm not sure why they limited it because it doesn't seem to serve a purpose. I do find it frustrating, and since this game has already been so frustrating for me it's just one more thing to shrug about.
- It sort of does make sense if you think about it. They start out leaning both food and drinks and then at a certain point they have to choose, bartender or chef? You could go through life and become a master chef then retire and decide to be a bartender but it's probably not very likely.

Sims cannot change the branch, so after chosen The Master Chef branch in its career, this sims can never complete the goal "Join the Mixology Branch of the Culinary Career" in the "Master Mixologist" Aspirations, which means player cannot complete the Aspirations - "Master Mixologist"
Its a Design Bug, please fix!
It's not a bug. Why would anyone think it'd be a bug? "Beardedgeek;12847890" wrote:

Er, because it's a really dumb design decision so some people assume it's some type of unintended error. And no, I'm not buying that it's set up this way in order to be realistic because in the real world a person would never become a mixologist and then a chef. I'm playing a game where people who die return to float around and get married, it only takes a few hours to become a best-selling author, babies poof into children, and no one in my town is aging. I'm not looking for realism here.
