Weenie roast disaster

I tried this event for the first time. Good G <3 d. Never again.

Everyone threw extra logs on the fire ALL OF THE TIME and there were at least 6 or 7 fires. Not to mention the routing problems figuring out how to sit down and roast hot dogs, and the fact that you can not ever finish telling a group story, or maybe it was just that the fires kept interrupting.

The majority of the weenies actually roasted were those attached to the guests.

Actually, I think it might have been because a couple of Sims were Playing with the fire. They probably should have known that would lead to trouble!
  • The sim on right learned the fire dance in Sulani? It's an option in TS2.

@Oldeseadogge I think it's just a get together fire interaction, though I'm not sure
  • Some people say "never again" and others say "I have to try that!" :D

@Oldeseadogge and @permanentrose Cool bonfire picture! I don't have island living or get together but I did see and interact with the fire dance at the Festival of Light that comes with Snowy Escape. My sim had an animation where it looked like he caught himself on fire for a minute, but it wasn't an actual gameplay fire - he didn't need to be extinguished nor did his hygiene drop.
  • Agree on the picture, very nice indeed, a gathering of friends, one of whom knows an interesting dance, and the walls in the background give it a 'in the courtyard of a medieval castle' look. Hopefully there were no problems.
  • @Rouensims Yes! They are!
Did you notice any connection with the "add log" action, like were your guests doing that a lot and then did the fire get bigger?
