- I mean, there's the one aspiration (Lord/Lady of the Knits) from Nifty Knitting. I know it's a stereotypical aspiration but I feel like it's made for an elder, especially a female. ?
- PandoraTOSeasoned VanguardI use a KiaraSims mod called Twilight Years. It really helps make elder feel like a unique life stage with a point to it and not just a waiting-out-the-clock stage.
I'll use the knitting aspiration for any creative sim, not just elders. I've been a knitter for 15 years and I'm still nowhere near being an elder, lol. Lots of kids and teens in my game learn to knit! :) "PandoraTO;c-18321978" wrote:

Ah, I see. I honestly can't see my younger Sims do that aspiration. It's a cute aspiration and all but I feel like it fits elders better. I respect your opinion and commitment to knitting though. ☺️- cyncieSeasoned VeteranI know what you mean. Elders are a bit of an afterthought in the game. But, that’s western modern life for you. We value youth and ambition over age and wisdom. I don’t limit my elders aspirations, especially in the knowledge and creativity areas. The only aspirations I don’t consider are the big family ones and the athletic ones. My elders can aspire to be an artist, a musician, or a chef. They can be determined to make a lot of friends, or choose to fish every day. In fact, in real life, many retired people seek out second careers, learn new hobbies and engage in travel opportunities. Having said that, I would like to see more travel aspirations in general, because a jet setting senior would be a great character. Senior additions to the family aspirations would be nice, such as a mentor aspiration, where the elder’s wisdom is shared with grown children and grandchildren. Also, additions to the wellness aspiration that includes more senior appropriate goals to improve overall health. The Zen Guru and Inner Peace aspirations are good for seniors, though.

When is the time to do all the aspirations if not when they are retired?
There is so little time when they work all day. Not even for proper meals o.o
Imo all the aspirations are also for elder Sims.
My father worked in his garden until he died at the age of 77. He was so fit. And my Sims and me keep it the same way ??
No limits ?
That is a very good point :) - crocobauraSeasoned Ace

This is very true. Lots of people find they need something to do and occupy their time upon retiring, so depending on their circumstance they may take up a hobby, an activity or a sport. Many will take up a sport just so that they can maintain their joints mobile, others might go for bodybuilding competitions. Some even go back to university and get a degree they always wanted but for some reason couldn't obtain when younger. Some will take a job just for the social aspect, and some because they need the additional income. I am not sure what kind of aspirations people think elders should have if they consider already available ones not suitable. - By the time my sims are elders, they’ve built up so many aspiration reward points, there’s no need to complete more. Sometimes I buy reward potions and store them away on those drink trays. The big aspiration rewards are just more traits, which they won’t have for long. I use the time to take advantage of any special traits or abilities they’ve accumulated. For example, cooking meals or drinks that will stay fresh forever, or upgrading things around the house. My elders continue the hobbies they’ve always enjoyed at a much slower pace. They enjoy nectar, games, puzzles, and retirement.
- SweetieWright_84New SpectatorI use whatever aspiration I think fit my sims' personalities. I don't focus as much on what stage of life my sims are in, with the exception of children and teens.
I do use the Lifetime Aspirations mod originally by Ky-e but adopted by NeedCoffee4That. It makes all of the aspirations more like lifetime wishes from the previous games and less like tutorials. There is only one milestone for each aspiration. I believe one of the family aspirations says to have some number of grandchildren. - JesLet40Seasoned Ace

That is very true, but for my sims, they've usually completed at least one aspiration by the time they're elders. I would also love some more specific aspirations only available for elders, just to have something unique for them (like with teens, so there is more options, but you can also choose all the normal ones). - SweetieWright_84New Spectator

Sounds like a great mod :)
I just realized when updating it, NC4T reworked the mod and added elder aspirations. There are aspirations for almost every pack, and some new ones as well.
