Anyone else still having aging issues?

Yes, even households saved to my library aged up when I moved them to my new save. I uninstalled the game last night and will reinstall it after work today. I'll have to start completely over, again, and if that doesn't fix it, I'm done.

And it kind of seems that people on long lifespan are experiencing their Sims to get younger instead on first load...

I really hope this gets fixed. I'm not willing to create a blank save just because the patches even make pre-patch saves (or gallery Sims) incompatible... :(

Yeah, I play on long and all my sims seemed to get noticeably younger. I can't find the report?

I opened my San Myshuno save, where everyone is on normal lifespan. Sims had days added to their lifespan, i.e. their birthdays were farther in the future than they had been before. No one has gotten suddenly older. I haven't done much in/out of CAS yet though. Have mostly been building.

In all my old saves, unplayed until the patch fix, the sims are younger. Every single sim of any age reverted to early on in their lifespan, this includes all my toddlers about to age up so may do it manually. It's my least favorite stage. I play on long with aging on.

I had this same thing happen. I think I'll have to age everyone manually to get where I was (when I think it's the time), but it will mess up things for a while for sure considering how huge my rotation is.

I always find it very interesting about the Sims how different playstyles are. For me personally aging off would be extremely boring because it removes all challenges and although I mostly like the Sims in my legacy families I'm also always excited to play with the next heir, so anything different than aging with short lifespan does not really work for me or I would be bored.

I play with a lot of Spellcasters, and I’ve made it a thing now in my saves that when Spellcasters become elders, I use MCCC to flag them as immortal.
And yeah, everyone’s different. I can see the appeal in never having Sims die!

All of the agespans are the same (and seem to be short) in my game, even when I try starting a new game. I'm going to try doing a repair and see if that works. I've been having to disable aging until I'm ready for Sims to move on.

So your sim may have been say 33 days old both before and after the change, but after the change, 33 days old is an earlier point in the current lifestage than it was before. Each lifestage has gotten a little longer.

I don't think it's that. I read that days were added, but they're actually a lot younger. I had some that were almost ready to age up on long, but now they're near the beginning.

I don't use mods so it's the game that shortened my sims lifespans. I also don't think it has anything to do with just adding days because it's happening in the saved games I did not play until the patch mess was over. I'm making fixes as I go along, mainly if the parents are too young (YA at beginning of span) to have teens I make then adults. And I will most definitely age up any toddlers that have achieved level 3 in all their skills but for some wierd reason are now at the beginning of their lifespan. The rest well c'est la vie.
