Can The Full House Mod or MCC Command Works in For Rent EP?

I want my rental home of my Sim to have as many tenants as he wants and not be limited to just 8 Sims tenants. Can the full house mod or the MCC Command Center work on Rental Homes?

  • Yes, technically you can use this to put more than 8 tenants per unit. But you can have more tenants than 8 in a rental without using mods if you have more than one unit in an RR build - each unit in the lot can have a regular household of up to 8 tenants. And I'd recommend not modding for extra Sims in an RR right now while there are some bugs with the lot type that can corrupt the lot -- just in case that turns out to be a cause. Not all causes are known yet. (This is some complicated, time-consuming testing.)

Now I understand each unit has a maximum of 8 Sims but if I have 2 or more units in a RR lot then I can have more than 8 Sims living together in a RR?
  • @luthienrising I don't know what create units mean. I already assigned 1 (eg. 1 Belleview) unit for one room, do I have to select the same 1 to another room when creating another tenant room?

I'd suggest looking at the tutorial built into the game under "Lessons". You can can assign multiple rooms to each Unit in a multi-unit rental, if you aren't renting the whole lot to one household. You can also assign some rooms to be Shared space that all tenant households can access.
