Question

Hi. Whenever I try to load my Sims game, through both Steam and the EA app, it pops up with that error

I know it has something to do with my CAS and BuildBuy folders because when I take them out it opens, but when I tried to go through them with the 50/50 method it still didn’t load

I’ve tried making new folders but it still won’t

Their names are “!Create a Sim CC” and “!BuildBuy CC” if that has something to do with it

Small expansion:Whenever I remove the folder for my BuildBuy and CAS it loads, is it possible that it’s also an issue with the number of folders I have?

Small update: I’ve merged some folders in my BuildBuy folder but that didn’t do anything, I also tried to just have my BuildBuy files in my Mods folder without the BuildBuy folder and that didn’t work either

Try this, please:

Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it
Delete the file called localthumbcache
Open the game and try to load a save
If that works, exit 
Copy only files, not folders, into your new Mods folder. You can put them in&nbsp;new folders - I recommend doing that by creator name, with no added punctuation, to help you notice duplicates.
Try again&nbsp;in batches
