For Rent: Sims can't get into their own apartments & other things!

Yesterday, right after I bought the new For Rent pack, I went into my game and started checking out the new premade households, I checked out Cahyaputri household, then went and checked out the Linh-Sadya household, and in both cases I didn't even try to get either sims to go into their apartment, but today I decided to check out the Linh household the one with just one sim, then I checked out the apartment, made a few changes, just the in the bedroom and then went to live mode and went into CAS, looked at the sim, then came back, and tried to get her to go into her apartment, but she acted like she couldn't like it was locked, which it wasn't!. I also noticed that the other family, the Linh-Sadya household were also standing outside in front of the building, not going in or anything, even when I put live mode on and waited! So I decided to switch households to that one, then when I got to it, I noticed the buy/build button was greyed out, and said I can only edit the building in edit world, even though yesterday I went into the same family I did makeover their apartment, but not in edit world! And to make things worse, the same apartment of the other household, the single girl Thi Linh was the only apartment showing, the Lihn-Sadya families apartment wasn't being shown, and like Thi Linh, none of them could go into that one either, though that is understandable since it's not their apartment, but I can't have Thi Linh go in either, even though it is her apartment! 

Now I actually turned around and quit the game and then launched it again, tried to get Thi Linh to enter her apartment again, and she wouldn't, she keeps acting like she can't, like when a door is locked or when something is in the way! 

Also so you know, I do have all the packs of the game, even Kits, I do have MCCC and the UI Cheats mods, but both were updated for this pack! 

Okay as I was writing this I decided to remove my mods and try without them, but it still does the same thing! Including only showing the one apartment, the small one of Thi Linh, not the bigger one! 

This was not a new game, but my current save game, so I did just try a new game, with my own sim household, rather then a premade household, it didn't do that then, it seemed to play normally! But then that means that somehow the new pack damaged my saved games! Which either way, isn't good! I shouldn't have to just dump my own saved game now, and start over, because of some glitch in this new pack! I almost didn't buy it because I was worried it would damage my saved games, and it did! 

I had to completely uninstall my game after Horse Ranch because it damaged my saves, so is this going to happen every time we buy a new expansion pack? Basically have to dump our saves and start over just for another pack, I mean why bother even playing this game anymore if I can't even keep my saves after each new big pack? 

I hope this will be fixed and hopefully it will fix my saved game too, but I won't hold my breath! Instead I might just stop buying any new packs or updating my game just for a new pack that is going to break my game every time, even if I don't buy the pack, because that what happened with the update for Horse Ranch, I had trouble even with the update for it!
