Help with making clipped ear preset for cats

I have looked everywhere for a clipped ear mod so that I could create my own cat in game. With no luck I decided I would take matters into my own hands. How hard can it be right? Well, I follow a tutorial on how to get the right files and things within TS4morphmaker and in blender. I have never used either before so keep that in mind. My first attempt I found a tool that created a line and it perfectly removed the part of the ear I wanted. I thought there's no way its that easy.... its not. I put it in Morphmaker and the cat model is pulled apart (as shown). Okay no biggie lets try again. This time I use sculpt mode and it looks amazing, for sure this is going to be the one. Well it looked perfect however when I exported the file from Blender and made the dmaps in Morphmaker, once I previewed it both sides of the models ears were cut flat(also shown). I followed the linked tutorial for the basics but it doesn't say anything about the duplicate cuts. Is this something that is even possible to do? I feel like if it was someone wouldve already made it right?

Tutorial I was using: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=618920

  • I just scoured some more and I found this tutorial by the same person and they say there's no way to make an asymmetrical morph? GRRRR is this true?
