I can't get any texture mod or in-game lightning mods to work

I can't get Sims 4 to launch as it crashes every time.

It's hard to explain, so please bear with me on this one, but I've had K-Hippies texture mods (The K-Mods) in my game for a long time, along with the Even Better In-Game Lightning Mod by NSW. It used to work fine, but now it won't work.

First, I couldn't get the lightning mod to work, but then, suddenly, after a bit of time, it worked, and I don't know how or why. 

Then I downloaded the texture mods, and nothing worked. Not even the lightning mod. I then decided to redownload the texture mods one by one, and that worked. Then I added the lightning mod, and it all stopped working. 

I guessed that they weren't compatible with each other, so I tried using Luumia's Noblu and Noglo mods, but they make my game unable to launch as well.

I tried again with the texture mods with the one-by-one technique, but this time they could only be one subfolder deep or else my game wouldn't launch.

But now I'm back to nothing working, and I'm so lost. It's only texture mods and in-game lightning mods that make my game unable to launch. I only have a few others, but they work fine. 

Also, it's not always that I get the notification (shown in the picture). Sometimes it says nothing.

I'm on patch 1.118 and use a PC. I'm using DX11. I've tried repairing, and my game works fine with and without mods (well, except the ones mentioned).
