Installing Mods?

Ok, I'm so happy that I think I finally found the list of mods I'd like to install into my game. Having never done this before though I don't know how to go about doing it. It's too late to figure it out right now for me, but how do I go about installing them?

Hopefully this will help next time if I get a pc.
  • One way is to check on the page where you would download the mod from. Oftentimes, the creator of the mod will say how to install it. Mostly, it's pretty easy and I'm no techie by a long shot.
  • Are you using a PC or Mac?

For Mac, put the downloaded file in /Users//Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

Then enter into the game, game options -> other -> enable custom content & mod -> view custom content (might need restart the game)
