If I have anything in my sim's inventory, it disappears the second I travel to a different place, enter CAS, or leave the game.This also happens with things stored in bookshelves or my fridge
I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue, since September 2025 (patch 1.118). Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See the broken mod lists linked in Mod & CC Issues: START HERE for other mods you might need to remove or update, and check current status for patch 1.119. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates.
