Ever since the new update a couple of days ago, I get the error: All mods have been disabled because it is possible that they conflict with the update. I relaunch the app, with an empty Mods folder. It opened just fine. The I added one random mod, a clothing item. It gave me the error. One at a time, I tried two other mods. Both times, I got the error. I find it hard to believe that all my mods are outdated. They all worked fine before the update.
I have the same issue! I delete some of my built mode mods and script mods and worked, but I tried with only deleting the script mods and still don't launch. Maybe is a single mod doing trouble or the mod folder is "heavy"
cattwood3 Please check that you don't have your firewall or anything similar blocking the Mods folder. And test with a freshly downloaded package file for something simple (and unaffected by the patch) like a table.
If you still have issues after that, please let me know if you're on Mac or PC.
mokitosx Your issue sounds possibly different. Check the Broken/Updated Mods & CC lists, and if you still have issues after that, test vanilla to confirm the problem is mod-related. I'm running Sims 4 on a PC. I removed everything from my mods folder (Vanilla) and booted it up. It came up fine. I put only one brand new mod in the folder and ran it with just that in there. I got the error. I also went to the extreme of running a repair on the app. No luck. I'm not that computer savvy. Can you quickly explain how to check for firewall blockage>

I'm having the same issue as well. After the update whenever i go to enable cc and custom content in the game options it unticks when i restat the game. I've updated everything and i don't have a firewall blocking anything
Yeah. That sounds like what i'm experiencing. luthienrising: Thank you for the links. I read them over. They are assuming there is at least one bad or outdated mod file in the mods folder. I've downloaded a brand new mod and launched the game with just that one in the mods folder. I got the error. I launched the game with nothing in the mods folder, and it booted up just fine.
I have a lot of mods. I took them all out of the mods folder and stored them in a different folder name. I don't think this has anything to do with saves on onedrive. If i run the app with no mods in the mods folder, it boots up fine. If i put just 1 newly downloaded mod or one mod from my saved mods, I get the error. I don't think this has anything to do with mod quality either. The app just won't run if there is anything in the mods folder, but it runs fine if there is nothing in the mods folder. I'm about ready to uninstall and reinstall the whole game, but i have 42 expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, and kits, so a reinstall with take while a while, and a repair didn't work.
