my sims can't finish cooking things that are mixed in a bowl

At first, I thought it was just caked, but I'm noticing that my sims won't cook oven items that need to be mixed in a bowl first. They can still use the oven, but not if the food item needs to be poured out of a bowl.

I play on the PS4.

    @JellyBean030 There's usually many factors to why you can't cook something.

    Do you have enough counter space ? Is counter space maybe blocked ? Does the Sim try to use a counter space somewhere else ?

    Do you have issues in every single household or just one particular house ?
