@sydneystuck Do you also have no CC?
This deleted my whole game thanks so much smh
@myi4wa8s65g1 What deleted your game? If you mean that moving the user folder to create a new one did that, you still have your saves folder to copy saves back.
For not being able to click on anything, this is part of testing if it's a problem with your mods or your game installation. If a new save works, you can now copy your old saves back to the new folder and test that. If an old save works, the issue was your mods.
Apologies if this is a dead feed and not relevant to the solution for OPs post but since this is the first thread that popped up for my question on "sims 4 not clicking", I'm going to post my personal solution as of right now after 3 days of trying to figure out if my Mods were busted.
I tried repairing, removing all mods, uninstalling the EA app to no avail.
I also noticed that I couldn't click in game but also immediately after quitting unless I went into Task manager and "end task" the EA App.
So after everything else I decided to turn off the "in-game overlay" in EA App settings and voila! That's what worked for me, so good luck anyone reading this! 🙂

I tried removing mods folder, repairing the game, deleting the localthumb..(cannot remember the name), or even re-installing the game.
None of the above worked for meI also tried turning off in-game overlay but it's still not working
Somebody help! - momotaro8189 months agoNew Novice@luthienrising That works like a charm!!! Thank you :D
@momotaro818 Awesome! Next, copy your old save files out of the old folder into the new one the game made, and try loading.
