Playground lot type and lot filter missing

If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

Thank you that worked for the lot type but the lot filter in the calendar is still missing. 

Try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains.

Actually still having trouble with the Playground lot type not appearing as my mods reappeared. I have been told to repair my game, that didn't work and I've deleted all my curse forge mods but no way am I getting rid of my Paid for mods but I will give your link a try

It say you need an external or flash drive neither of which I don't have do not think I can complete this fix. I can do without after we all have for so long I even deleted the save I was using but it didn't make a difference maybe its in another save I started before the update maybe I'll go and delete that one too. Thanks anyway.

I deleted all my saves and even tried the new boost. Automatic wasn't the problem, disabled wasn't the problem and enabled didn't make any difference. I may as well reinstall the entire game and see if that works. Going out of my mind right now. Its a Sunday morning I have the time. Thanks for the help.

You don't necessarily need an external drive. You can just back it up to a different place on your internal hard drive. 

It really sounds like some not updated mod is causing issues.

Uninstalling game as I type and all my mods are up to date unless you think its UI Cheats or MC Command Centre stable pre-release 2025.6 the latest update not yet for public release. Cost me £3 a month but its nice to get the Pre-Releases. 

Evie-Jaye48​ The only way to know for certain a mod isn't the cause is to rename the mods folder and delete the localthumbcache folder. Note that any pre-release is use-at-your-own-risk.
