I don’t believe I have any viruses on my folders, but I’ve noticed that the mods are OK for me to add on, however, when it comes to make up, Hair, pose, slider, clothing, body presents my game will crash. I find that a little unfair since it’s just to dress up my Sims. it shouldn’t affect the game. I have to pretty much delete everything in order for the game to function. Is there a way around it?
edit; I’ve noticed that I have deleted something of the hair, which I believe could be an expired mod and I managed to have now hair added onto the mod files, which Allows the game to load, but when I add on the clothes. It crash again.
@Pb7697Ab02 None of those things are broken as an entire category. You're going to need to do a proper 50-50 test of your remaining mods now that you have one broken one solved. Make sure you're deleting localthumbcache and don't have a duplicate mods folder somewhere.

Oddly, enough I was able to add in my clothes CC yesterday but once I add in makeup it crashed again. Now I can't add it on anymore. I have updated all of the mods I have to make the game run. I deleted localcahe and repair the game. :/) it's upsetting how nothing is working to have my game repair. I will say that my sim still have Body presets and more when it is not in my files mods anymore.
@Pb7697Ab02 Sounds like mods/CC that don't have updates are broken. Also, removing presets doesn't mean that Sims created using those don't still have that shape. It just means that preset won't be in your CAS options anymore.
yesterday last night I was able to play my sims with the hair CC files. Now I’m on my laptop and it has crashed again! Mind you, I have took out everything out. I have done the 50/50 method where I remove the mods who have made my game crashed. I only have UI cheats, wicked, Mccommands, Childbirth pregnancy and Sac jr updates and hair. What’s the new issues for why it has crashed when yesterday I was able to play the game with the same Mods in my mod files?
im confuse on how 3 days ago I am able to add in clothes, the hair CC and Ravasheen camera and now I can’t use any of them anymore. ☹️ my entire sim cast is naked. It’s depressing how I have to restart everything again.
edit; I notice that if I waited longer the screen would load completely.,. I wonder if I can add the clothing cc
@Pb7697Ab02 Do a 50-50 on your hairs, then. And the Sac mods aren't covered here but are often problematic even when updated.
Overall, it sounds like you might also have issues with duplicates and just too much CC. Both can cause load issues. Start with only the CC you absolutely know you're going to use, not just stuff you might use someday.
That is true, I have a lot of CC, pose players and more that could be the cause of my game crashed or slowing down. But tbh I have discover if I waited long enough I am now able to play the game. Which means I can use the older files I couldn’t add on before! I have add the file makeup and body preset and the game have launch 🙂 I’m happy now!
