  • Hi @crinrict,

I have done as you said (I have the game on steam).

Unfortunately, your solution doesn't work for me.

Do you have other ideas? I would really like to adjust the terrain.

  • @crinrict

Yes, I tried and in a new game it does work.

I don't really feel like discarding 40 hours of work though.

Any way to fix the save?

@humanrest I tried several lots in your game and most seem fine. There'one lot in Del Sol Valley where I can duplicate the issue.

Bulldozing the lot there reveals several changes done to the territory. It's like the house overwrites them.

As I'm not a build I'm unsure what exactly breaks it. Do you have issues on any other lots ?

Maybe it's the fence around ?

  • @crinrict Thank you for trying, seems strange that you only have it on this lot.

Could you try willow creek as well? The 50×50 lot doesn't work for me either.

I have tried another lot on which I have never build before and somehow there it works. I don't understand but thank you for the bulldoze option 😊

    @humanrest

Crin shared the Willow Creek build (very nice!) and the Del Sol Valley one with me. The lots have the Out To Pasture flooring tiles placed, not terrain paint. This is why it seems like the terrain tool is not working. You can easily test this by using the eyedropper tool and click on the grass outside on either of these lots. Or just use the sledgehammer outside and drag over an area of grass.

@Bluebellflora Thank you so much! I wouldn't have found this myself.
But your right, I remember after bulldozing that I painted everything to grass and it must have been these "hidden" floor tiles.
Great job finding the cause and thank you for the compliment!

    Best regards, Humanrest.
