Re: Sims Can't Interact with Objects

So did you have to move them into a whole new household? Or just moved them out real fast then back in and they went back to normal? Mine is doing this right now and it’s annoying me so bad idk what to do

@jnelis1 Your cause is likely different from someone's a year ago. Start by assuming you have mod problems: test vanilla and check Broken/Updated Mods & CC 

So it worked when I took the mods folder out and placed on my desktop, so that means I have a broken mod that needs to be removed in order for me to play with my cc and other working mods? Bc right now my sims won’t do any action they say they can’t walk and cancel out of my command. I’d really like to play with my CC I’m just confused I just got into sims 4 and am so confused 😣😣😣

@jnelis1 That's correct. You can use Broken/Updated Mods & CC as a starting list and test for the rest (50-50) or check with creators. Please keep in mind that, as noted at the top of the Broken Mods post, not all mods are coverable at EA AHQ.

I also have the same problem and it can't be any mod or CC because i took the whole folder out. I'll try the moving out option but it happend in every household I've tried so far ☹️ The action shows up in the line but they are just standing aroung doing nothing or I tried to get one Sim to use the toilet which worked but they didn't stop using it even tho i have the option on that they can do anything out of free will 

@ThePusteBlume Check that all your game files are current and complete by running a game repair in the EA App (or checking file integrity in Steam, if you're a Steam player). Issues with not being fully EA-updated on your files might cause this.

I did run a repair in the EA App but it didn't help ☹️

Same thing with my sims, I’ve been fighting with it the past hour. I visited the neighbors lot and could interact with every object there, so I don’t think it’s a mod issue.  I added my house to the gallery and bulldozed lot, I also tried moving and moving back. Moving lots and adding the same house from gallery. I don’t know what else to do. 

@LaureenIrenee The common causes are:

1. You have outdated mods. Test vanilla and try a "clean" folder 

2. You have complex mods missing parts or you haven't deleted files you should (e.g., there was a choice to make between two files, or you have files for packs you don't own). Check the installation instructions for your mods.

3. You need to get EA to check your game files through the EA App.

Sadly it didn't help to repair the Game again. I took my save files out in the end and uninstalled the game and installed it again and that seemed to work. I will put my save files in and try it again but if it happens again then one of my Save files seem to be corrupted. But thanks a lot for your help!
