i re downloaded them but still just that one shows up

@ttynnie I don't know what custom content items are being discussed here (and as a rule, it's fine to name third-party downloads as long as they don't include adult content; no download links though). But I wanted to mention a couple of potential pitfalls not covered here. One is that perhaps the item only shows up in a certain category, and you need to open that category or dismiss a certain filter. In that case, perhaps @DeanXeL could post where they found the item in CAS.
The other issue that comes to mind is that perhaps the missing item requires a pack that you don't own. If that's possible, please list the packs you have installed, or the ones you don't have installed if that's a shorter list. @DeanXeL You've already tested plenty, and I'm not suggesting you need to do any more. But if you're still curious about the cause, you could disable the relevant packs and see whether the item still shows up for you. The cc download page should list any required content as well, but not all creators are careful about that.

They were both shoes, I checked them in sims4studio too, nothing special about them (same sim categories, same shoe item category)...
They're 'basegame' and they had to be to show up for me, since I don't have anything else (except desert luxe) 🙂

They tried the crystal sandals and the leather pumps. The pumps would never show up. I even merged them in one package and had them try that one file, but still, only the sandals would show up. Makes me think you might be right with it being something about the actual CC that could be causing, it, but I wouldn't know what... I'm not that well-versed in CC either
