Restaurants aren't working in The Sims 4. There's no host or chef on the lot. There's no option to request a table by clicking on the host's counter. I have Sims 4 Studio and Mod Manager, but I haven't found any options to fix this error. I've also used the repair function in EaApp. I use some mods, but the restaurants worked normally with the ones I have.
Having this issue - fixed all of my mods and updated. 8/22/25. Any one have an idea what it may be?

If you use Carl's Dine Out, the newest update (Aug 20) might fix your issue.
I did this and it worked without the mods. I'll play like this for now.
Please follow these steps to test your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc
Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
