Sim can't use computer

My sim can't use her computer at all. I have sold and rebought the items, made sure there is no security on it, etc. The menu pops up but the action does not complete. I do not have any mods or cc AT ALL, and I have repaired my game.

    @imjustzo Do you have stuff on the table other than the computer ? Have you tried sitting down first and using the computer then ?

    SOLVED: a book had bugged into the desk somehow, under the computer.
