I've tested this with a vanilla game, using only MCCC, and I get infinite loading every time i try to load into a lot.
i've tested many different things and it's definitely related to mt komorebi. I've cleared cache, replaced lots, reset milestones, tested in a new save file, removed all mods, tried a different household, removed all b/b cc. The only fix that has worked has moving the sims elsewhere.
Today I got a possible cause that i've not seen before, I have went through and checked mods since I have A LOT. I removed a good chunk, can play fine for a bit but the next time I load up my game, I get a critical exception again.

Rename the Mods folder and try again.
I keep getting this error as well for the last few days since I updated, after 50/50 everyday, I found these files causing mine and removed and fixed them:
This error seems to be a mod conflicting one another. On day 3, s-mkatu files were giving me this crash and error so I removed them and went to bed. Next day, I opened the game, it gave me this error again. I decided to put s-mkatu files again and it went through this time. The LE is confusing and this last script removal got me in game and I'm writing this and hope tomorrow, I won't have to deal with this.
ojousamanee Definitely weird on the unmerging fixing that one. I'd be very cautious about using those CC downloads, though, ESPECIALLY merged files. You don't know what's in there. You don't know if you'll have old broken CC, or duplicates of stuff you already have, broken versions of stuff you already have. Stick to creators' own sources.
Yes, fortunately despite it being 400 packages, I did 50/50 on each one and they were fine... even after removing completely... I managed to play alright with and without.
Now after posting the last reply, I went to bed, woke up, did errands and decided to play again, and I got the crash error again, even though I didn't download or move anything at all. I tried the mod conflict detector and its telling me that xml4.2 is broken, but I heard that mod hasn't been updated for many many years.
All this happened after I updated to Adventure Awaits.... I noticed here that a lot of people can't play either and crashing despite updating our scripts and most mods.
Also I tried to make a new save, and my mods and items seem to be fine so my save might've been corrupted .... I'm trying to just recover them as much as I could.
I've been having this same problem as well. First it was healthcare redux causing this infinite loading screen so I removed it then my game started working, then it was sim control hub causing issues so I removed that as well. The problem started back up again a couple days ago so I removed Waronkcc stroller mod and my game seems to be loading so far.
Update: Today after 50/50 each of my yearly folder, all of it loaded the game fine except for my 2024 folder, I tried to 50/50 it, but there's just too many, so I got tired half way and just removed all of it and opened the game without it, then I got the crash and error again, even though it worked earlier.
I put the 2024 folder back, made a new game again (random npc), and exited that and loaded my usual household. It brought me back onto the world map, I clicked my household lot > and instead of resume play, I clicked Build. And my apartment loaded fine... I'm starting to think this error is an ongoing random event or pop up from Adventure Awaits.
I'm going to try to save my household and lot onto the library to make a new save with them, but I'm having another issue on that, where I can't save things onto the gallery ( lot upload fixed by changing into Laptop mode).
ojousamanee Is this behaviour now with or without mods? I'd also suggest moving your older files from the 2024 folder into a newly created folder.
yowinfam Healthcare Redux was updated in September for this patch. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC, which you can subscribe to for update notifications.
For Sim Control Hub, was it blocking household loading, game loading, or causing some other problem? It has a lot of issue reports but I haven't tested it.

yowinfam Ah, the waronkcc stroller is for Patrons only. I'm not able to test it, and Patron-only content isn't reported here. Tell the creator it's broken.
