Struggling with CC

Can someone please help me with cc? I watched so many videos and it’s still the same. When I download the cc it’s in Microsoft word form and I can’t change it so it doesn’t work. I have photos what it looks likeand when I open the file it looks like this

  • @gabrogu    Hello!  Perhaps you could try downloading the file using a different browser.  If you get options, be sure to "save file" and not "open with".  Once the file is saved in your downloads folder, move it directly to your Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods folder.  Then check for the CC in your game.

    @gabrogu 

    That you chose to associate package files with Word for some reason does not change how they work. You save it to the mods folder. The install instructions where you got it, should have told you that. The instructions will also have told you how to use it in the game. If you for some reason saved the file from Word after opening it, the file will be permanently damaged, and you need to download it again.

  • @gabrogu I use a program (freebie from microsoft) called "1 File Viewer" for all of my mods/CC downloads. It saves a whole heap of hassle. Going by your pictures, it looks like when you've been given an option as to what program to use to open your files, you've selected word. That may be why you're having issues. May be ...
