Build Issues

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.21
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All available
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Build mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't rotate roofs or stairs. Move objects not working. It says the cheat is on but continues to function as if it isn't. Short cut buttons not working. Have to select shortcuts from toolbar. Copy tool doesn't copy (most of the time). Today I tried build but it was so frustrating I just gave up.
What do you expect to see? Roofs and stairs able to rotate. MOO enabling me to place objects closer to one another or overlap objects. Ability to use triangle and square buttons for copy and swatch shortcuts. Items copy when copy command is used.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After Discover University installed and has progressively gotten more difficult to build.I have also uninstalled and reinstalled all packs and problems persist. ‌

@MrsSweetpants To me, this sounds like bluetooth interference of some sort, possibly due to overheating. Can you please check to see if your PS4 is getting proper ventilation (blow out those vents) and dust around the console, and if it sits in a tv stand with a door that the door is open. If there is anything electromagnetic near the left side of the console where the bluetooth card is, it needs to be moved away. This includes your phone, or speakers.

It also might be a good idea to get a paperclip and reset your controller(s). Sync the controllers to the PS4 by plugging them in with a cable.

@PoptartJuniper Yes it does. I have tried other controllers. It usually starts after about 15 minutes or so of building. Shutting down the game doesn't seem to help either.

@PoptartJuniper It's alone on an open, free standing, glass shelving unit with the tv on the shelf above (2 feet between shelves). I will look into the blue tooth interference. I'll turn it off on my phone. If that is the issue it may be possible that it's coming from my husband who plays his ps pro in the same room, he also has a bluetooth headset in addition to everything else(I do not). I may have to roll my unit into another room and see if that helps. That should only leave the Move Objects cheat not working eventhough it says it's on. Hopefully that will resolve itself in another patch down the road.
    Thank you for your help!

@MrsSweetpants  As for the MOO cheat, when you have an object selected you may need to use the L2 button to tell the object what type of movement (grid snapping) you want it to do. I find that my free move turns off every time I buy a new object to place and have to turn it on again even when it's on. So cycle through the snapping options using L2 to see if that helps.
