I am trying to use a few of the lots from the gallery and they all say the same thing when I try to place them. I checked and my game was updated already, so I’m not sure what to do.

Update 2.31 has now been released for Xbox and PlayStation- please be sure your game is updated, and you'll have full access to the Gallery again.
So everyone gets a phone usage fix but us, what the hell?😠
They specifically prepared console players via social media that the update would come later. Updates need an extra approval step by Playstation and Xbox before it is released. PC doesn't need that extra layer of approval.

I swear I have seen this mentioned elsewhere but I can't remember where! Everytime I want to add a lot in from the gallery it says I have to update my sims to the latest version, best thing about it is that my Sims 4 is the latest version because I double checked straight after.. Is there a way to fix this issue or do I have to wait until it fixes itself?

The update from March 17th only went out for PC and Mac players- Console will receive this update at a later date as we want to make sure we deliver the best experience possible for console Simmers.
Since PC and Mac are now on a different update version, you won't be able to download any items from the Gallery created by PC and Mac players that was created after 3/17, and you'll see a "Version Mismatch" error when attempting to download some content. Any items created prior to the 17th should still be accessible for you to download in your game.

My game is up to date (Xbox) and have restarted and checked there are no updates available but when hovering over the download button, it says: "Unable to place content because it was created with a newer version of the game. Restart your game to check for updates". It's an issue with every other lot when selecting bade game only residential lots...
I believe that console currently can't download newer things as they were saved with a patch that console hasn't gotten yet.
I'm unsure if it's all things saved on PC/Mac or just newer things.
Can you see a pattern like that ?
I’m playing on the ps5 version of the sims 4 and when I try to download a lot I am faced with a greyed out button that says “cannot place content because it was created with a newer version of the game. Restart your game to check for updates” After checking for updates and seeing that I am using the most up to date version I am still faced with this message.
Anyone know when the update is coming? Because I can not play with this state of the game. It’s awful.
Hi so everytime im on gallery and I want to place house now it will always say need to update it and I mean this before ps4 got the news update so I wonder if any ps4 user are having the same issue of not having it update
