Multiple Issues (CAS, IN GAME)
To start off, I play with a PS4 and it’s in good condition. This is gonna be kinda long…
Playing the sims on the console has gotten incredibly frustrating lately. From CAS to even in game. With CAS, I can’t download anything from the gallery because I then get stuck on zoom in and out. I can’t rotate my sim and if I click on a feature, I’m then locked on the features menu, not able to back out.
I tried making a mermaid sim once and it kept freezing on me so I had to start over and for some reason it turn my mermaid into an alien? I couldn’t even change the occult back to mermaid. I had to restart again. And, the royalty and legacy scandal cooldown keeps changing (going from 9 days to 14 to 15) giving my sim this permanent embarrassed moodlet and this depressed walk. Mind you, in game I have been playing for probably like over 2 sim weeks. My sim had a literal child and it hasn’t changed.
Another thing, personally I don’t really care for playing with the ghosts, for storytelling purposes I want to use the cause of death feature to hint my sim died before my story took place and I know an urn is going to be in their inventory. With all of that in mind, when I click on their urn in game to return them to the netherworld (? hopefully that’s what it’s called) and make it so they’re unplayable, it’ll briefly grey them out and tell the cause of death.
Then after a while (i’ve only saw it after I saved) their portrait is suddenly colored again and it doesn’t show up that they’re dead? This is the 2nd time this has happened in a game before a patch update and after one. Idk if this is a problem with other console players or if it’s just a my console problem but it gets annoying how glitchy my game gets.
I can’t use mods to correct the issues and I am occasionally forced to have to start over, which gets frustrating because I have to wait through a long loading screen (my tv is right beside the internet btw). This is related and unrelated, can we add more colors for base game hairstyles and eye colors?? have the ability to make them darker or something. also make it so my infant sim will have one eye colors and it won’t change to a whole new one when they age up (e.g. blue eyes going to literal red)
