My sims 4 won’t load

So I play sims 4 (disk) on a PlayStation 4 and both the game and console are around 5 years old (I don’t know if that has anything to do with the problem), I started having trouble with my game loading a few days ago and I just restarted the ps4 and reloaded sims up and that would work and it got my sims to load properly however that stopped working. I then thought that the problem may be with the disc as when I tried another disc game I own it worked. However the disc is still in perfect condition with no scratches or marks. I was then told to try and delete my disk version and download it from the PlayStation store so I did and the problem seemed to be fixed. However, because I re-downloaded it I then had to re download all my expansions packs again. It then worked and let me play however when I went to load the game up the next day I had the same problem. So I re downloaded it again and downloaded the expansion packs individually and restarted the game in between each download of the pack. Once all the packs were re installed I switched off the ps4 and it loaded sims up fine. Then when I went to play the next day the same problem happened again. I then tried to do a system reset on the ps4 ( I think that’s what it is called it sent the PlayStation into safety mode ) and that worked and I played it fine but once again today it has happend again and I am now at a loss and don’t know what to do. Any advice would help x

Thanks! Let's try the following steps:

    1. Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.

    2. Restore your licenses with these steps.

    3. Make sure your game is up to date.

    • Go to the PlayStation home screen.
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
    • Restart the Console completely.

    4.  Make sure your console system software is up to date

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
    • Reboot your PlayStation.

    5.  Uninstall and Reinstall the game:

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
    • Select a game or application.
    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

    Hi @Horrorbrigade138

Is the content from your pack not appearing in-game for you?

Can you let me know which console you play on?
