My Sims take FOREVER to do anything

Me TOO!!!!!!  I own this game on the PS4 and I will miss the chance to save someone from death because the characters will take an hour in game to do something (mostly anything with animation it seems).  This gets WORSE the longer I play the game, but improves on not just restarting the game but shutting down the console and giving it time to clear the cache before starting back up, but it is BAD especially after playing for 35 minutes, or playing on a large lot with a lot of people, or if you travel more than once or twice.  The game comes to a crash after traveling 4 or 5 times!!!!

I as well suffer from the horrible lag in this game. I have it on the Xbox and everything takes around an hour waiting to even start the task. My sims will stand at the bed for up to 3 hours before finally jumping into bed. Sometimes the fatigue meter will fill as if they had been sleeping the whole time, other times not. This happens with everything from eating to reading,  etc. 

I have it on XBox and this is making my household miserable every day. It sucks. I bought this console because my daughter wanted to play Sims4. The issues were so bad we couldn't play it and the tech directed me to DELETE EVERYTHING! My daughter had spent hours designing her home and building her family. She tried to start another household but now this buggy nature has made it doubly miserable to play. Is EA even listening to any of this???? I spent at least $80 on the game... for what? Aggravation? Isn't a game, by definition, supposed to be fun?
