Ps5 sims 4

At home lot it’s very difficult to get my sim to get into bed and if I try to cancel it it takes 2-3 hours of sim time to actually get them out of it. The high school lot is still messing up. Like when I click on my sim or others it doesn’t bring up the options for a while or when I click on something to make my sim go do it they freeze then eventually does it. My sim had class and he wouldn’t take the exam until there was only 10 minutes left. 
I really enjoy playing this game when it’s not messing up but recently hasn’t been enjoyable but irritable please fix this
