I'm not sure if this is a bug or what it is so I'll just add it here as feedback. My build controls automatically switch to ceilings. So when I go to select flooring, it goes to ceilings instead and I have to go back to flooring. It's a bit like an issue I've had for a while, I reported a few months ago that categories were scrolling on their own. It's been happening as I open build mode lately too, it goes to the bottom line of the walls category instead of the wall tool. I hope that makes sense.
I'm happy to see ceilings though! I remember them in previous Sims games.

@mumofharry same here, as I'm testing it it's occasional, but was constant in freebuild.
