Game crashing. It's crashed 3 times in a hourPs4 and game all up to date and yeah the error is saying I need to update game. I am having to save every 5 minutes due to risking losing everything I have done (it crashed once last night and i lost 3 in-game days. So I went bed but now can't do * as it is crashing as I said above)Please help me as I paid over £100 on this game and i really wish I hadn't now!!!!!

I reinstalled it and it crashed yet again. Saying,An error has occurred in the following application.(CE-34878-0) The Sims 4. I would send ypu the picture but this website isn't letting me because the fike is "too large"

My game has been crashing too, the same error code: (CE-34878-0)But it normally only does it when I try to build or place lots in Newcrest. That and a few random times in game, including after managing a household in edit mode, then trying to play with it.

Hi i recently bought the game on ps4 and its unplayable it crashes every 5 to 10 mins doing random things nothing specific, EA needs to fix this i didn't buy the deluxe version to not be able to play.

I’ve been having nothing but issues with the game since the day it came out! First it was issues with saving which caused me to lose hours of game play, then any paintings I painted from reference randomly disappeared, my teenage children glitched out and vanished never to be seen again and now the game crashes every 10 minutes so I’m having to save my game every 3 minutes meaning I’m spending more time saving my game than actually playing it! Is so frustrating because I’ve emailed EA and had no reply. I’ve spent so much money on the base game and expansions is it so unreasonable to expect a fully working game? I’m happy but also heartbroken to see other people facing similar issues to me.

I agree it’s a shame more content comes out but Xbox/PS4 And EA has yet to address this. I am not going forward with any more purchased at this point I have all games and ep for ts4 but will not continue to buy. At this point the more console players I am seeing with issue across both Xbox and PS4 are stacking and really should band together and request action it’s our money our trust and investment and when I say I am loyal to this franchise I mean I have owned all platforms of this game starting from 2002 til now I feel as if I don’t deserve this at all as a customer and loyal fan. And before some “Guru” jumps in to cool my jets I will have you know all suggested peer, guru, company and platform troubleshooting steps have been taken and not this seems like console players are being ignored. I would encourage you to stop buying the games until action is taken on this there is no point in adding to an already broken game.

Hi @wyatt9201,

Sorry to read you are experiencing this issue. From your description, it sounds as if the update or game itself didn't install properly.

If you are still having this problem, could you open your game, press L1+R1+L2+R2 at the same time and introduce version in the text box that will appear? What version does the game tell you it's installed when you do that?

If the game crashes again, please, take a screenshot or copy the error message you receive so we can take a look.

Are you doing something specific in the game when it crashes? As I was telling wyatt, it's possible the update or game itself didn't install properly. I'd try to reinstall the game to see if the problem disappears.

If not, are you doing something specific when the crash happens? For example, some players are reporting the game crashes for them when they organize a wedding.

No, I haven't been doing any specific activity with my sim. Each time it crashed I was doing different things, that's what makes it so strange and annoying.

And I only got mine on Christmas day as a gift. This is frustrating.
