Well my thoughts on the problem are this.... The update adds more things to the library. I was saving almost all my created sims and the odd edited house build to my library. When I actually looked for saved sims in my library only about 2 or 3 old ones were showing up and none of the newer ones and there should have been alot really. So there must have been alot saved to the library that just wasn't showing and the only way I could think of helping the situation was just deleting everything and as I said before it worked. So if you have loads of stuff saved in the library try deleting what you can live without and see if it helps. Good luck!
Well, on the 23rd, I did delete some families and then it started working normally for like 10 minutes :0 but I will try to do so again and see if it still works, thanks for the tip!
Ps. I deleted all my houses, alot of premade stuff and have 4 families left in library and it still didnt work..

Yeah it's incredibly disappointing especially with how much the game ends up costing with all the added dlc. It definitely needs sorting as I'm sure it will crop up again further down the line. I've noticed on my Internet travels trying to find out more about this problem that alot of ea games have this issue.... So buuu hiss Ea ! Sort these very expensive messes out !
Oh wow, I didn't even know more EA games had issues! Well I do hope they start fixing up the problems, I mean one shouldn't have to delete all their progress/creations because of some strange issue in the game ://
I hope when Cats and Dogs come, that they'll patch the gallery issue or something
