Unable to Pick Last Trait

When I age up my teen to a young adult the pop up to able to pick the trait does not show up. So when I age up my sims they stay with only the 2 traits I picked for when they aged up to a child and to a teen. The only way I can pick the final trait is I have to go to cas.fulleditmode. I was just wondering if there is another way I can fix it or do I just have to wait for a update. And is this only a problem for Playstations because I play on a PS4.
