Wont Shower Stops To See Whats Happening Glitch

About 3 days ago 1 of my sims started to not shower after giving the command to. They would stop in the middle of taking the shower to get out and to see "What's happening" but nothing else is happening. And it was only that sim.

Now whatever it is has spread to the rest of the sims in that household and they're starting to stink along with having upset moodlets due to the filth accumulating.

Everytime I tell them to take a shower they'll get undress, step in for a second and will get right back out with a "gasp" and in the cue it will say "see what's happening" (also no one is awake( bathroom is connected to an exposed bedroom) or in the bathroom either besides that sim)

Never had this problem before really confused and the glitch won't go away.  I've save and exited, ejected the disc before launching. Fully updated game and I've closed the application and turned the ps4 off to then eventually turn back on but nothings working.

I went to the gym in a different map so they could shower and came back home.

The glitch was still there when I tried the shower later on.

@CodeBacon2 The only time I have seen sims do that (The little hand on mouth gasp and see what's happening) is when a toddler is doing something, like a parent gasping in delight that their toddler has done something on their own.

But no one was doing anything including them.

They were all asleep, everyone. 😔

@CodeBacon2 Are you using open showers? Are the rooms where the showers are fully enclosed?

Edit: Can you move the family to another lot and see if they shower fine at a new lot?

Yes the shower is in an exposed bedroom. But never had this issue before which is strange. And the people in bed were asleep.

And how do I move them to a new lot wouldn't that cost money? Or no? 🤔

@CodeBacon2 You can try to use a closed shower while you have toddlers, or you can use the phone and have your sims move to a new lot (save first). Sell your furnishings at the old lot and move to some random budget home. You can test to see if your sims shower fine there. If so then you know the shower at the old house is the issue and needs to be replaced.

You can just move the family back to their original lot then fix the bathroom/shower. Or reload that save you made before you moved the family.
