[XB/PS] DLC pop-up stuck on screen

My Sims 4 game on Xbox One within the last month or so has started failing to launch, and then when it finally does launch after several tries, it wants me to agree to EA's terms and conditions, fit the box to my screen, and then I have to close a pop up for every single pack as if it just installed (spoiler alert, I have them all except for most new kits) and sometimes I have to close multiple pop ups for the same pack. Then, I get in the game, go to build mode, and every item from every pack is "new", shows up at the top of each category, makes those categories highlighted, etc. It's like I never played. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and all add ons (giant waste of time) and cleared some xbox data as some threads from whoever is in charge of helping people with this stuff have stated to do, and it still happens. 

Why is it unplayable now? I'm ready for the last week of that futuristic event thing with that like, Emit Relevart guy, but can't do that if the game won't even work.

I've spent over $1000 and EA gives us an actual dumpster fire? 🙄

Any suggestions? 

Does anyone else have this problem even after troubleshooting?

No I don't have mods because console doesn't get that privilege.

i play on xbox series S and noticed an issue that i think may be linked to some game kits. everytime i turn off my xbox or restart the game entirely, i get two pop ups in a row saying "new content has been installed but will not be available for use until the game is restarted". the issue is, not only are these pop ups annoying, but when i play the game, nothing is missing. it only happens when i start the game and doesnt happen again until i close it. i didn't have this issue at all until i bought and installed everyday clutter/bathroom clutter/laundry day kits. it's been happening for several weeks now. 

If you have a problem to close the windors, you can connect the mouse and do it manually. This is how I workaround that issue.

Im Having the same issue still. Haven’t heard back from EA yet. Reported several times here and Twitter.

Game purchase info window won't close after installing the pack on the main screen. I can still control the background but the window won't disappear until loading a new or previous game. It use to be able to be closed by hitting the B button but not anymore. XboxOne.

How do you do that? I play on PS5. Don’t you need have it connected to the internet to load the game up? Also, how do you get to your game without logging into your account.

I had this bug and fixed it.

On xbox, close the game and go to manage game and add ons, click saved data and clear Reserved Space.

The game will take a bit longer to load, should be able to see the welcome screen without issue.

Can even scroll to events without the popup coming back to haunt you.

Playing on a series X.
