Sims 4 Broken After Newest Update July 2024

What is being done about this!!! I am having the exact same problem. How are we supposed to play? Something needs to be done ASAP! 

It's so frustrating! I've tried literally everything, I can't travel, anytime I want to open the main menu it says "game loading in progress" - last night I left my laptop open and an hour later.... "game loading still in progress". 

CAS won't open at all, it's either a loading screen or a blank white screen. I've removed all mods that were broken and CAS mods. Still won't work. I've had to force restart my computer 3 times because it keeps freezing. I'm sick of EA's crap. They'll never change.

I have the same issue, can't travel and can't open the menu. Tried removing all my mods, but it didn't help 

The same is happening for me and it’s been happening all morning! I don’t know how to stop it. When i first used the sims this morning, it was working perfectly normally for around 20 minutes then it suddenly started not to work😭

This keeps happening to me too I'm not sure what it could be as I have tried taking my mods out and that didn't work

I've never had mods in my game and my game is BROKEN. No ability to save, can't look at school/jobs tab, build mode doesn't work. Like WTF EA? How are you so bad at your jobs?

I have the same issues and also it’s wrecked my simology panel, I can open it, but then it goes really weird and won’t close, then I can’t open anything else including saving, CAS or manage worlds. For my child and teens sims, the manners, responsibility etc (from parenthood) just keeps filling and emptying like it can’t decide what it’s doing. It’s also glitched out my buffs and moodlets too where they become blank blue squares. On the occasion where do get into CAS or manage to travel, it does the black screen thing where the game is still playing, I just can’t see the actual gameplay. I’ve clicked the repair button a few times, and uninstalled and redownloaded twice just in case it was a problem my side, but the issues are the exact same. I was so excited for this update too. Not getting the pack until it’s fixed, glad I didn’t pre-order now :( 

I'm having the same issues! If I click the simology panel, that's when it messes my game up and the character values are moving one direction all they way to green at the same time, then decreasing and moving all the way into red and spasming out. After I click simology I can't save my game and have to go to the task options to shut it off- which doesn't save any of my play.

If you are familiar with the AHQ mechanics, go to those errors which seems familiar to you and "me too" those threads. With that "me too" count we can show what's wrong in the game and - hopefully - get the necessary attention. You might guess, the higher the "me too" count, the better are our chance to get a solution as soon as possible.

Looks like EA is working on a hotfix for at least some of those issues, so there is still hope.
