I NEED SIMMER'S HELP! (Disabled mods/Cc)

Since the new lovestruck update I've been trying to use mods/cc but they are not working.😭I've looked up many Youtube videos and articles but nothing has worked. When I open the game it tells me that the mods are disabled and to go to game options and turn them back on. I'll do that and then I click apply changes but whenever I reset the game even if I have no cc in my folder, when I open it back up the settings reset. I've done this as admin, download all the new versions of cc and mods, created a new folder, repaired my game, and even un and re-installed my game but nothing works. The sims is my way to relax and escape from the real world and it is really hard when I can't afford a lot of packs for I use cc and mods. I really need help so if anyone can please let me know, thank you.
