Can't get previous saves to appear after gameplay fix

Hello! I was one of the many effected by the endless resume game to manage worlds map bug and have taken the steps to fix with the renaming file, repairing, and trasferring other files over thing. It seems to be fixed even with mods being added back in, but getting my mods to work transferred over was a pain and after shuffling folders and duplicates around I got them to function. Not totally sure what I did either.

However, none of my previous saved families are loading. I've tried making duplicates of the 'Tray' folder (I'm on mac) and replacing the one currently in the new save folder for sims 4 and I believe I did it right the first time by making a duplicate/copy of the origional tray and putting that one in the new folder. I haven't gotten any error messages or last exceptions, nothing suggesting a problem or corrupted save file. Just none of my saved games are showing up in the new/fixed game.

Any tips, advice, fixes, etc is more than welcome and appreciated! I'm not super super tech savvy so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    I don't know how that Mod works but it appears to create saves files so even if you removed the Mod from your Mods folder the save files remain in the saves folder. If you cannot load these modded saves it's probably because you removed the Mod.

    This is the only save in the correct location that the game should attempt to load and should be visible when you click Load Game at the main menu, or Resume Game:

    /Users/x/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/Slot_00000002.save

    These are in a saves folder within the saves folder which is why they are not loading:

    /Users/x/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/saves /Slot_0000000c.save

    Thanks so much! I moved one set of the saves back to the first folder, deleted the copies, and it worked. Everything's back! Not sure how I didn't see the folders in folders before, but again I apperciate your help and time :)

    Go into your Applications > Utilities folder and open an app called Terminal. Copy and paste the following search command into Terminal at the command prompt then hit enter/return:

    find ~ -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null

    It will take a while. You will know when it's finished because the command prompt (the bit where you pasted) will reappear.  Select all of the search results, copy, and paste here please.
