Exception raised error - sims 3
Hi!
I know this is a common topic, but after reading and trying multiple solutions for the problem, i really had it.
I downloaded the sims 3 and four expansion packs (world adventures, generations, pets and seasons) via Origin. Every game download goes great, until the Seasons pack.
When i try to start the game after successfully downloading all the expansion packs, the game suddenly asks again for the register code of the game. I type in the code, and then the error pops up:
Exception raised
Unhandled exception 0x80000004 at address 0x00000000.
Do you wish to unbug it?
YES / NO
No matter the answer, the game closes. I tried downloading the game on two different macs, one older and one brand new. Both the same error.
The error doesn't seem to pop up before the Seasons pack (so basically, i can play the game if i delete the Seasons pack, but what a waste of money..)
The specifications of my new mac is:
MacOS Sierra, 10.12.6
2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
After struggling for a week now, i hope someone has an answer to help me out.
Thanks!

It clarifies why the game is so problematic in macOS. Your Mac has an unsupported Intel video chip and is running an unsupported version of macOS. The debug error is usually caused when the game has hit the 2Gb RAM limit and crashes. Have you reset/purged RAM before trying to launch the game with Seasons installed? Have you moved out your Sims 3 folder and tried to load a clean, vanilla game?
