Game crash when moving camera too fast

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.42.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, City Living, Discover University, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, High School Years, Growing Together, Dine Out, Outdoor Retreat, Parenthood, Backyard, Cool Kitchen, Kid's Room, Movie Hangout, Spooky, Toddler, Fitness, Laundry Day, Moschino, Paranormal, Tiny Living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing in Live mode
What happens when the bug occurs? When using the Sims 3 Camera and you move too quickly, specifically when clicking the scroll wheel on your mouse, the curser disappears and the game crashes. The game is still moving in the background and you can hear the sound effects and control the game with hot keys on the keyboard, but the image is frozen.
What do you expect to see? The game not crashing when I spin the camera around too fast.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This happened after the update on 4/18/23

It's the mouse that's causing it then. If you can change settings for it try playing around with different options and see if it helps. Maybe updating your OS would help?

Which Mac do you have? Could you try using the Apple mouse/trackpad that came with your Mac and see if it still happens?

I have a MacBook Air with the M1 chip. I tried with my trackpad and keyboard shortcuts and that seems to work fine, but I prefer to play using a mouse. I use a Logitech mouse and it's only when I try to free rotate the camera by clicking the scroll wheel that the came crashes. I don't have an Apple mouse to try out. I also haven't updated to the latest OS recently.
