Since the most recent update to Sims 4, I can no longer get through 20 minutes without the game just quitting on me. It is getting to the point that after 24 years, I will have to give up this game. I have tried reporting the issue multiple times. It is not my computer, as in it is a brand new mac, built for this. But ever since EA removed Origin, its been nothing but poo. Can anyone out there give me some sort of idea of how to fix this? Or should I really just give up? Its just so awful and makes everything I try to do a feat that is unenjoyable.

ccrist1229 Don't discount the issue being your computer just because it's brand new, that doesn't mean anything. Sometimes Apple make updates to the OS that conflict with issues in the game and sometimes EA make updates to the game that conflict with OS processes (see here why the game kept crashing on brand new M1 Macs when they were released, or here whereby a simple permission omission in macOS could cause your game to not launch on any Mac, new or old, as a couple of examples).
You need to test a completely clean game. Follow the instructions in the opening post of this thread. Post back with all the info asked for if you're still having issues.
