Sooo I have NEVER seen this but I have been going through my mods and trying to see why i would get the return to world issue, i was testing again after removing some and now i have this message pop up going to a broken link.
i just want to play, i updated by accident. is this even possible?

its the latest update.... your game won't load until the problems "fixed". you either have to uninstall the game, then redownload it –& lose all your saves– or wait until the patch release –which are completely random– to play your game. won't even let you enter the household after the update, if you can try to play the game offline without updating.

This isn't true. There is no need to uninstall the game and even if you did so you would not lost your saves and other user data as they are stored in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. The game installation is separate. If you uninstalled the game and managed to lose your saves you did something wrong.
KittyHadMeDead69 meisje13Nearly all script mods broke in the patch last week which Mod creators are responsible for fixing, not EA.
See the opening post and follow the instructions to properly test a clean game. If you're still having the issue with one of your saves in a new clean Sims 4 folder please send me your save as requested. If a LastException file is being triggered please copy/paste the contents here.
