Game Data Incomplete, grey llamas, red and white sims, broken textures

I haven't really had any issues with my Sims 4 game before so I haven't used these message boards very much, but I've had a problem show up that I can't seem to find a solution for. I've che...
- Repair the game in EA App. If the issue still persists move onto step 2:

- Force the relevant pack re-download:
- with EA App closed, open the Sims 4 Packs folder which will be in the same location as the base game on your Mac, usually in the Applications folder.
- trash the relevant Pack folder, e.g. for Horse Ranch you would trash the EP14 folder. See Crin's list for Pack numbers - https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/extras-2/available-packs-dlc/
- launch EA App, repair the game then re-download the Pack
If the issue still persists completely uninstall and reinstall EA App AND the game. Do not skip any steps:
- Uninstall the game via EA App

- Re-download and install EA App https://www.ea.com/en-gb/news/the-ea-app-for-mac
- Turn off automatic updates when logging into EA App for the first time
- Download and install the base game only
- Launch the game and check it's ok
- Download and install Packs and Kits
- Launch the game
