High School Years

I'm having trouble with the high school years pack. It doesn't prompt/ask me to follow the teens to school. The message is enabled on to prompt to follow. Other glitchy things that are going on that I'm not sure that are related to the pack or not, but it doesn't give me the option to have my teen sim do homework. Anytime I click the blue homework book it only gives me the option to add to favorites, every day. My sim also joined the cheerleading team and anytime there's is practice my teen wont go no matter what I click. 

I do not have any CC. I do have additional packs. I have already "repaired" the game and these issues still persist. I use the EA app.
