I saved every 20 minutes... On a 7hr build...

I was inspired by Love Island's epic fail of a season. I decided I could do better, then spent 7 hours today building my Villa. I saved every 20 minutes and even shut my laptop a few times throughout the day and opened back up to the game several times. The only thing I can think of that differs from my usual game methods is that I began the build from "manage worlds" which I have never done before. When I finished the Villa I went back to main menu and created the household... but when I went to move them into the lot... it was gone! There has to be a way to retrieve the saved data, right? There is just no way I am going to be able to recreate that Villa... I literally cried after entering and exiting Nordhaven thirteen times.
