M and + hotkeys not working on Mac (British English keyboard)

I've just started playing Sims 4 on Mac, but two hotkey shortcuts aren't working for me: 1. Pressing M while placing an object is supposed to cycle it through all the available slots on a surface, b...

@alydous 

  1. I've never had experience of this. Are you saying the item should move around the slots each time you press the M key? That's pretty cool.  I just tried using the BG Carefree Succulent and placing it on the BlandCo Contemporary Counter and it didn't happen.
  2. The + key is for zooming in on a Mac. It's never had any other function.

I'm also using a UK keyboard.
