Missing Load Game and New Game buttons and can't locate saves folders

I have had sims 4 since I first downloaded it back in 2014 and stoped playing in 2016, but as of recently I reinstalled it on my iMac and noticed that my Origin account is still the same and when I went to play the sims 4, I looked in my gallery and all my stuff is still there which is great! But when I wanted to play the households I created, I became confused because the only option that the main page is showing me is the big play button and missing are the Load Game and New Game buttons. I repaired the game and that didn't change anything. I quickly looked online to see if others have had the same issue and I found many others with the same issue, with that said I read all replies and solutions other were giving and I tried them and I thought I fixed the issue with the one where you play a new household and then save it and when you return back to the main menu you should see the buttons there and it did work. The next day I got on and again the buttons were gone after I spent hours building two different homes and now I am unable to play them again. ( Also I was unable to search my iMac for my saves folder

(Slot_00000001.save) its like they don't exist on my computer) So Im all around confused and frustrated and will probably just uninstall it at this point.

Please open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter:

    find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

This searches for Sims 4 folders on your Mac. It may take a moment. When finished please copy and paste the results here.

Nope, I don't need to know your username 🙂

That all looks normal and your save should be in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. Are they not there?
